About the ISSS Office & Team
Our Mission
As part of our RSHM identity, Marymount University strives to bring people of all backgrounds together to create a vibrant learning community. Through support services, student organizations, and community-wide events, we offer an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
International students are an integral part of Marymount University, providing the campus community with an opportunity to learn about the richness of different cultures around the world. Approximately 10% of Marymount University’s overall student body comes from abroad, representing more than 70 countries.
The Office of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is dedicated to providing F-1/J-1 students and scholars with a supportive environment to help facilitate personal adjustment, academic success, and status compliance.
The ISSS Office provides the following in support of F-1 and J-1 students and scholars:
- F-1 and J-1 immigration compliance advising and reporting
- Information about on-campus student support services
- Intercultural programs
- Confidential adjustment counseling
