Toner Cartridges & Cell Phones

We now recycle toner cartridges for Marymount University. This includes both inkjet and laser cartridges. Your contributions to this program help Marymount technology continue to grow for all of us!

If you are not familiar on how to distinguish between the two, here are some tips:

  • Inkjet toner cartridges are usually small in size.
  • Laser toner cartridges are usually larger in size. They also are a bit more complex than toner tanks, which we do not recycle. Staff and faculty may return these via your departments mail pick-up; please write “Toner Recycling” on box or see “drop off locations” below.
  • Toner Tanks (nonrecyclable at MU) are usually huge, refillable toner containers that may resemble a “bazooka.” We do not recycle these, but most companies have free recycling programs for tanks. Usually instructions and prepaid labels are found inside the box. Check with your toner provider for more information.
