Data Science Certificate
There are no good decisions today without good data. This certificate program prepares students for the data science field in business and government, a fast-growing segment in business and technology. Data is everywhere and business intelligence, machine language, and artificial intelligence knowledge are increasingly important. The field continues to have high job growth and many job opportunities are available in the Washington metropolitan region. Title IV federal financial aid is not available for this certificate program when taken alone but is available when taken as a component of the M.S. in Information Technology, M.S. in Cybersecurity or M.S. in Emerging Technology programs.
Three required courses:
- IT 540: Enterprise Data Management and Analysis
- IT 546: Principles of Data Science
- IT 566: Computer Scripting Techniques
