Adam Kovach has taught philosophy and humanities courses at Marymount since 2004. A philosopher with broad interests, he has published articles on theories of truth, the nature of emotions, and the ethics of belief. He has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for research in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind and has served as president of the Virginia Philosophical Association.

Dr. Don Ross began teaching at Marymount University in 1996. Prior to teaching at Marymount, Dr. Ross taught at DeLourdes College, Elmhurst College, George Mason University, The University of Maryland, College Park, and Georgetown University. He has taught a wide range of courses in the history of philosophy and developed Marymount’s on-line course in ethical theory. Dr. Ross has published research on the thought of Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, Gregory of Nyssa, and Augustine.
