Q: How did Marymount help prepare you for your job?

Marymount helped me greatly!  I felt like I received a very thorough and well-rounded education that definitely gave me the ability to analyze data and draw insightful conclusions as well as present those conclusions in a meaningful and concise manner. The research and writing skills that I developed and honed have helped me greatly in the workplace.

Q: What advice would you give to current Marymount students in their career search?

First, interface with your other students and professors to start building your network before entering the workforce. Second, if pursuing a career in HR, learn the aspects of the business to better relate to the other managers and executives in the organization. And third, don’t take the initial “No’s” you may hear as “Never” but rather “Not Yet”!
