Theology Courses in the Liberal Arts Core
Marymount University requires students to partake in the Liberal Arts Core.
Every student is required to take at least two Theology and Religious Studies courses. As a Catholic University, Marymount’s Theology and Religious Studies department is rooted in its Catholic Christian tradition but extends beyond to study and enter into dialogue with other religious traditions and forms of spirituality.
By taking these courses, students have the opportunity to study critically different aspects of Christianity as well as begin to understand the horizons of the world’s — and their peers’ — diverse religious and spiritual commitments.
The courses listed below meet various University and Liberal Arts Core requirements. See the liberal arts core and theology & religious studies course descriptions for more details.
