Marymount University is offering two all-day baseball camps for high school players from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 18-19 at Bishop O’Connell High School, 6600 Little Falls Road.
Run by the Marymount Saints staff and other area college coaches, the camps provide the opportunity to showcase a player’s talent and offer instruction and feedback. Marymount’s Frank Leoni has more than 20 years of experience as a head coach, including stints at William & Mary and Rhode Island. A total of 25 players Leoni has recruited or coached have been either drafted or signed free agent contracts to play professionally.
The camps will be held at the Saints’ new, state-of-the-art baseball facility in partnership with Bishop O’Connell. Cost is $100 per day or $150 for both days.
