Free Espionage-themed Film Fest at Marymount March 21 and 24

Enjoy the thrill of a mystery, action-packed features, and everything from James Bond to Austin Powers?

Then join Marymount University’s espionage-themed “Film Fest: Spies” on Tuesday, March 21 and Friday, March 24 in Reinsch Library Auditorium, 2807 North Glebe Road. The general public and students from local colleges and universities are invited to participate in the free events.

The schedule is as follows:    

 

Tuesday, March 21

• 2 to 4 p.m., “The 39 Steps,” followed by a discussion with Dr. Marguerite Rippy, professor of literature and languages

• 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” and discussion with Dr. Brian Doyle, chair of Marymount’s Department of Theology and Religious Studies

 

Friday, March 24

• 2 to 4 p.m., “The Secret Game” and discussion with Dr. Mark Benbow, assistant professor of history and politics 

• 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., “The Lives of Others,” sponsored by the Center for Global Education 

• 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., “Austin Powers”
