Finance Policies

Statement: The policies linked on this website are the current policies of Marymount University.  If there is a conflict between the version of these policies linked below and older versions contained in old handbooks and other publications such as the website, then the versions of the policies linked below govern.  Marymount reserves the right to change, amend or delete any of its policies at any time for any reason.

General university wide policies apply to all members of the Marymount University community including student employees, faculty, staff, administrators, board members, consultants, vendors, and others engaged in the business of the university. Student employees are also bound by the Student Employee Handbook, the Student Code of Conduct, and the Graduate Assistant Handbook.

An employee who violates these policies is subject to corrective and/or disciplinary action in accordance with the University Progressive Discipline Process.  Instances of deliberate breach of policy by agents (such as contractors and volunteers) may result in termination of contracts and/or services or dismissal of volunteer assignments. Instances of deliberate breach of policy by officers (such as the Board of Trustees) will be adjudicated in accordance with applicable disciplinary procedures set by the Board of Trustees for its members.
