\nand the short story collection\u00a0Carry Her Home<\/em>, which won the 2018 Fiction Award from the
\nWashington Writers\u2019 Publishing House. Her work has been optioned for film and television. She
\nis the recipient of a 2018 Artists and Scholars grant from the Montgomery County Arts &
\nHumanities Council for her novel-in-progress. She will be the fiction editor of the new
\nanthology, This Is What America Looks Like<\/em>, from the Washington Writers\u2019 Publishing House,
\nwhich is scheduled for publication in early 2021. In addition, Ms. Bock spent twenty years as a
\ncable executive, including as the senior vice president of marketing and public relations at
\nBravo, IFC and IFC Films. In 2013, she moved to the DC-area from New York, and in 2015, she
\nbegan teaching at Marymount University.<\/p>\n\n
