autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have the talent and you\u2019ve gained a lot of knowledge and skills that you\u2019ve earned here from the wonderful faculty who taught you,\u201d said Dr. Hesham El-Rewini, Provost and Senior Vice President at Marymount University. \u201cSo take advantage of that now, and use it to serve others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To date, the Marymount University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi has inducted 250 total members. Each year, the national organization initiates about 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni \u2013 membership is by invitation, and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine and headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., Phi Kappa Phi has chapters on more than 325 college and university campuses in the U.S. and the Philippines.
