{"id":2971,"date":"2019-07-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/developmenttwo.marymount.edu\/blog\/washingtonexec-nvtc-announces-board-members\/"},"modified":"2021-01-19T18:39:04","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T18:39:04","slug":"washingtonexec-nvtc-announces-board-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/blog\/washingtonexec-nvtc-announces-board-members\/","title":{"rendered":"WashingtonExec: <em>NVTC Announces Board Members<\/em>"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvtc.org\/index.php\">Northern Virginia Technology Council<\/a>&nbsp;has elected a crop of returning and new board members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are 75 voting members on NVTC\u0092s Board as well as chair emeriti, honorary members and members of the board&#8217;s Senior Advisory Group.<\/p>\n<p>The officers of the fiscal year 2019-20 board of directors are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chair: Rich Montoni, MAXIMUS&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>President and CEO: Bobbie Kilberg, NVTC<\/li>\n<li>Vice Chairman: Greg Baroni, Attain<\/li>\n<li>Vice Chairman: Kevin Phillips, ManTech<\/li>\n<li>Secretary: Marta Wilson, Transformation Systems, Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Treasurer: Matt Schwartz, KPMG LLP<\/li>\n<li>General Counsel: Craig E. Chason, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP<\/li>\n<li>Public Relations Adviser: Alisa Valudes Whyte, Merritt Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The NVTC membership elected 19 members to the board of directors for 3-year terms that run from 2019-22. They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c1ngel Cabrera, president, George Mason University (Cabrera was recently selected as the incoming president of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Once a new GMU president has been selected, a new board representative for GMU will be chosen.)<\/li>\n<li>Matt Calkins, founder and CEO, Appian&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Teresa Carlson, vice president, Worldwide Public Sector, Amazon Web Services<\/li>\n<li>Wallace Christner, partner, Venable<\/li>\n<li>Tony Crescenzo, CEO, IntelliDyne&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Tina Dolph, president and CEO, Siemens Government Technologies&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Kathryn Falk, vice president, market leader, Northern Virginia operations, Cox Communications&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Michele Kang, founder and CEO, Cognosante&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>James Leach, corporate vice president, RagingWire&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>David Link, founder and CEO, ScienceLogic&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Michael Maiorana, senior vice president, public sector, Verizon Enterprise Solutions<\/li>\n<li>Mike Matteson, senior vice president, Commercial Banking Market Leader, PNC Bank<\/li>\n<li>Terri McClements, mid-Atlantic managing partner, PwC&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Tony Moraco, CEO, SAIC&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Steve Partridge, vice president for Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Innovation, Northern Virginia Community College&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Kevin Phillips, president and CEO, ManTech&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>David Schaefer, president &amp; CEO, AHT Insurance&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Peter Smith, President and CEO, AMERICAN SYSTEMS<\/li>\n<li>Matt Strottman, COO, In-Q-Tel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, Rich Montoni, chairman of the NVTC Board, made nine chair&#8217;s appointments to the board.
