David Levine, who served for 10 years as president and CEO of the Montreal Health and Social Service Agency, will discuss how Canada responds to a public health crisis during a public health forum on April 14 at Marymount University. His remarks will be followed by a panel discussion with other experts.<\/p>\n
The forum, \u0093The Changing Landscape of Public Health at Home and Abroad: The Latest Challenges in Public and Global Health,\u0094 will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Reinsch Auditorium on Marymount\u0092s main campus, 2807 North Glebe Road. Registration and networking begins at 6 p.m., followed by Levine\u0092s talk at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion is scheduled for 7 p.m. with a question-and-answer session at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
The forum is co-hosted by Marymount University and the National Capital Healthcare Executives.<\/p>\n
Levine, now president of D.L. Strategic Consulting, is an adjunct professor in the department of family medicine at McGill University and a clinical professor in the department of health administration at the University of Montreal. He consults primarily in health care system strategies. He holds a bachelor\u0092s degree in civil engineering from McGill University, a master\u0092s degree in biomedical engineering from Imperial College in London, England, and a master\u0092s in health administration from the University of Montreal.<\/p>\n
