Marymount University\u0092s annual student fashion show, Portfolio in Motion<\/em>, will premiere Thursday, April 30 in the Rose Bent\u00e9 Lee Center on the school\u0092s main campus, 2807 North Glebe Road. Premiere-night tickets are $100 ($70 for alumni) and can be purchased online at marymount.edu\/pim\/tickets. The price includes a 6:30 p.m. cocktail reception followed by the fashion show at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n This year\u0092s show is themed \u0093UNDERGROUND\u0094, inspired by street art and graffiti, which, integrated with fashion, will ignite a unique interactive experience for the audience, according to the show\u0092s Creative Director, Chelsea Connestro.<\/p>\n Eveningwear, sportswear, accessories, men\u0092s and children\u0092s wear will traverse the runway, as well as junior golf apparel, sporting original prints, the result of a grant from Cotton Incorporated. The show features the work of senior designers, whose diverse lines have Nigerian, Ethiopian, Caribbean and Saudi Arabian inspirations.<\/p>\n
