Michelle Bolles, vice president of administration of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will speak at the HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington (HRLA) Gala on Tuesday, June 7 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.<\/span><\/p>\n Bolles, who served as one of the judges in HR Leadership Awards competition, will discuss each award category as it relates to the business field. They include the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the Year, Leadership, Strategic Alignment, the Dr. J.P. London Award for Integrity, and the Sister Eymard Gallagher Award for Service to Others<\/p>\n \u0093It says a lot about the prestige of the awards that we\u0092re able to have such a distinguished business leader participate,\u0094 said Melissa Benik, executive director of HRLA.<\/span><\/p>\n Bolles joined the U.S. Chamber staff in 1990 and has held several positions, including director of small business marketing and operations and, most recently, vice president of human resources. She holds a bachelor\u0092s degree in marketing and a master\u0092s degree in education and human development from The George Washington University<\/span><\/p>\n About 450 people are expected to attend the 15th annual event, which begins with a 5:30 p.m. reception, followed by the dinner ceremony at 6:30 and an encore dessert reception at 8:30. Award finalists and winners will be announced at the gala.
