One of Marymount&#8217;s most popular events is the Constitution Day Luncheon. This annual event honors the American founding through a prominent keynote speaker who is able to provide a unique perspective on one of the governing documents of the country, but also comment on its impact and relevance on contemporary issues that arise in political discourse today. On September 19th, David Simas, CEO of the Obama Foundation, was the keynote speaker for this year&#8217;s luncheon. He spoke to over 125 students, faculty, and staff about the importance of transcending political partisanship to collaborate and effect positive change in our communities.
