Functions for finance and student applications on Workday will be implemented at later dates.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWorkday is an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) which will replace many of Marymount\u0092s current systems over the next few years, and will become the means for managing data, processes and people across campus. Marymount will be able to grow and improve its business practices by updating its technological infrastructure with Workday, a key goal within <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/Home\/Faculty-and-Staff\/Office-of-Planning-Institutional-Effectiveness\/Strategic-Planning\">the university\u0092s five-year strategic plan, \u0093Momentum.\u0094<\/a> The project is locally branded as \u0093SaintsConnect,\u0094 because it will help the university community easily \u0093connect\u0094 with each other to operate more efficiently.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMarymount\u0092s operational efficiency will be significantly improved with Workday thanks to streamlining processes and moving them online, thus eliminating many paper forms. These include job postings and hiring, employee time entry, benefits enrollment and much more.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAs a modern ERP, Workday is optimized for mobile devices to allow users to access information and initiate business practices in real time from their phones. Employees can download the Workday mobile app from Apple or Google to easily interact with the software while on-the-go.
