Past internships have included sites such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/\">U.S. Department of Homeland Security<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/\">U.S. Department of Justice<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saic.com\/\">Science Applications International Corporation<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bread.org\/\">Bread for the World<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>MU&#8217;s Cyber Center<\/h2>\n<p>Marymount has a designated&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/commons.marymount.edu\/cybercenter\/\">Cyber Center<\/a>, a resource for all Cybersecurity students that provides &#8220;a focus for faculty, students and the community to collaborate, across disciplines, to understand the cyber challenges that the nation faces with the objective of developing an effective workforce to meet these challenges.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the Cyber Center, students will find the support they need both during their studies and after through events, career resources and connections to local institutions.<\/p>\n<h2>Accelerated Cybersecurity Program Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>This unique program may be completed in&nbsp;<strong>four consecutive semesters<\/strong>&nbsp;(18 months), and this degree requires a total of&nbsp;<strong>74 credits<\/strong>&nbsp;after completion of a bachelor\u2019s degree from a regionally accredited institution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To fulfill the requirements of the major, all students in this program will take coursework in a sequence determined in collaboration with a faculty advisor.
