Marymount invests in renewable energy certificates (RECs) as a way to support the expansion of the wind generation industry. The University offsets the majority of its electric energy use with the purchase of RECs.<\/p>\n

Marymount\u2019s newest buildings, Rose Bent\u00e9 Lee Ostapenko Hall and Caruthers Hall, are LEED-Silver Certified and the new educational, residential and office complex Ballston Center, opening in Fall, 2017 , is LEED-Gold Certified.<\/p>\n
