Halo Nomination Form

The Halo Awards Dinner and Presentation will be held during Homecoming Weekend on October 16, 2021. Award recipients must attend the dinner and presentation in order to receive their awards. Should a recipient be unable to attend, another recipient will be chosen.

Submissions will be reviewed by a committee. If a candidate is not selected in the year they are nominated, their name will be held in the files for three years for future consideration.

     Distinguished Alumni Award - College of Sciences and Humanities

Honors an alumna/us from the College of Sciences and Humanities who demonstrates significant accomplishments in their professional life as well as distinguished service to their community, state, or nation.

     Distinguished Alumni Award – College of Business, Innovation, Leadership and Technology

Honors an alumna/us from the College of Business, Innovation, Leadership and Technology who demonstrates significant accomplishments in their professional life as well as distinguished service to their community, state, or nation.

     Distinguished Alumni Award – College of Health and Education

Honors an alumna/us from the College of Health and Education who demonstrates significant accomplishments in their professional life as well as distinguished service to their community, state, or nation.

      Distinguished Faculty Award (Faculty Member of the Year)

Honors a faculty member who demonstrates a combination of excellence in teaching, research, and service. The nominee enhances and advances the university through innovation and leadership, and champions student success.

     Saint of Service Award (Outstanding Community Member)

Honors an outstanding community member, alumna/us, non-alumna/us, or organization, who has displayed exemplary service to Marymount University or the Catholic community as a whole. They epitomize what it means to be a Marymount Saint.
