If a student lacks adequate health insurance, their education could be interrupted or even terminated due to an unexpected illness or injury.<\/p>\n<h2>Please Note:<\/h2>\n<p>The enrollment for Fall 2026 will be open on 6\/18\/2026. It will close on 9\/4\/2026. No exceptions will be made if the waiver deadline is missed.<\/p>\n<h2>Who has to complete a waiver?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate students registered for 12 or more credits<\/li>\n<li>Graduate students registered for 9&nbsp;or more credits during the fall and spring semesters<\/li>\n<li>Please note Graduate students that are registered in the summer for 6 or more credits are considered full-time<\/li>\n<li>Students who have a change in registration status (i.e. registered as part-time and changed to full-time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All students that meet the above criteria, will be identified for enrollment in the United Healthcare Student Resources insurance plan and automatically charged the premium of $2,315 for the 2026-27 academic year. This will be billed to your Student Account as a \u201cline item.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>If I meet the wavier criteria how can I opt out&nbsp;of the school&#8217;s plan?<\/h2>\n<p>If you have coverage through an individual or family plan, you can waive the university sponsored plan by submitting a waiver.
