Marymount University is committed to the safety of its students, employees, and guests.<\/p>\n

In an emergency, taking personal responsibility is key; all Marymount students and employees should be familiar with Marymount University\u2019s emergency preparedness policies and procedures in order to help ensure their own safety and that of others.<\/p>\n

The University has emergency plans in place and maintains close contact with the Arlington County and District of Columbia offices of emergency management. Marymount\u2019s dining services provider also has emergency procedures in place, to ensure ongoing provisions for resident students and others on campus.\u00a0 The Marymount University Emergency Response Handbook <\/em>can be viewed and downloaded here Marymount University – Emergency Response Handbook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reporting an Emergency<\/h2>\n

If you become aware of an emergency situation on campus, dial (703) 284-1600<\/a> (ext. 1600 from a Main Campus or 4040 Fairfax Drive phone) to reach Campus Safety personnel, who can summon medical, fire, or police response.<\/p>\n

In a life-threatening situation, dial 911<\/a>. Campus Safety personnel will automatically be notified.<\/p>\n
