Your personal safety and the security of the campus community are of vital concern to Marymount University.<\/p>\n
A copy of the University\u2019s annual Campus Safety Report is available upon request or online. This report includes statistics for reported crimes in\u00a0the most recent three-year period. These crimes occurred on campus, on property owned or controlled by the University, and on public property immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes information regarding the law-enforcement authority of the Campus Safety department and policies on matters affecting campus safety, such as crime prevention, alcohol and drug use, sexual assault, state sex offender registry, and reporting of crimes.<\/p>\n
You can obtain a printed copy of this report by contacting the Office of Campus Safety, Marymount University, 2807 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA, 22207, (703) 284-1601<\/a>.<\/p>\n All members of the Marymount community are advised to follow certain common-sense practices to help ensure their safety and the security of their belongings. To learn more on procedures and precautions, please select here.<\/a><\/p>\n Crimes and suspicious activity should always be reported immediately to Campus Safety at 703-284-1600<\/a>. Members of the Marymount community can also report criminal or suspicious activity anonymously by filing a report <\/a>online. These can be used to report criminal activity such as domestic violence and sexual assaults, illegal drug use, possession and dealing of drugs, or any suspicious activity. The information provided should be as detailed as possible.<\/p>\n NOTE: The anonymous crime reporting system is not monitored 24 hours a day and therefore should NOT be used for reporting immediate threats such as a violent crime in progress or a fire in a building.
