Now, one bin does it all! With single-stream reycling, all the items below are collected together and sorted after pick-up. Look for single-stream recycling bins all around campus, and help Marymount recycle as much as possible.<\/p>\n

(NOTE: Toner cartridges and cell phones<\/a> are still recycled separately in designated bins.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

  • Egg cartons (cardboard only \u2013 not Styrofoam)<\/li>\n
  • Envelopes with and without windows<\/li>\n
  • File folders<\/li>\n
  • Glossy paper (brochures, magazines, catalogs, newspaper inserts, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Junk mail<\/li>\n
  • Milk and juice cartons<\/li>\n
  • NewspapersOffice paper (all colors)<\/li>\n
  • Paper bags<\/li>\n
  • Paper plates<\/li>\n
  • Paperboard (cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, shoe boxes, beverage cartons, gift boxes, and any other single-layered paperboard)<\/li>\n
  • Pizza boxes<\/li>\n
  • Post-It notes\/self adhesive paper<\/li>\n
  • Shredded paper (bag it so it doesn\u2019t make a mess)<\/li>\n
  • Soft cover (novels, notebooks, etc.) and hardcover books<\/li>\n
  • Telephone books<\/li>\n
  • Thin paper (fax paper, receipts, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Tissue paper<\/li>\n
  • Wrapping paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

  • Aluminum cans (soda cans, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Aluminum foil and trays<\/li>\n
  • Drinking glasses<\/li>\n
  • Aerosol cans (must be completely empty and must not have contained hazardous material)<\/li>\n
  • Glass bottles and jars<\/li>\n
  • Incidentals such as labels, caps and neck rings on plastic containers, and the pump in a hand soap bottle<\/li>\n
  • Metal food and beverage cans. Lids and labels are okay.<\/li>\n
  • Plastic bags or packaging with recycling symbols #1-7<\/li>\n
  • Wire hangers (fastened together and placed alongside bins)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n
