Our offices serve copy requests for MU\u2019s Main Campus and Ballston Center. Keep in mind workloads vary throughout the year. So, on occasion, it may take longer than 24 hours to complete a job, because of our workload or the complexity of your request (i.e., hand placement copying, special paper requests, binding, etc.) We ask that you give us a week\u2019s notice for large requests. Please call ext. 1493 with any questions you may have.<\/p>\n<div><b>Important Update to Our Copy Center Submission Protocols<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To ensure efficient processing of print jobs at the Main Campus Copy Center, please adhere to the following guidelines:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>1. File Preparation<\/b>: Before submitting your print request, ensure that your files are in one of the following acceptable formats: Microsoft Office, JPEG, or PDF. Convert your files to PDF whenever possible to facilitate a smoother printing process.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>2. Submission Readiness:<\/b> Your files must be ready for print. We are unable to make formatting adjustments or edits.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>3. Timeliness:<\/b> Due to a recent increase in print requests, we kindly ask that you submit your jobs well in advance. Last-minute requests cannot be accommodated. Planning ahead will help us serve you better and ensure the timely completion of all print jobs.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>4. Use of Resources:<\/b>\u00a0For simple printing tasks, please use the Canon printers located across campus. The Copy Center should be reserved for larger or more complex print jobs to avoid congestion and delays.<\/div>\n<p>Please fill out a Copy Request Form for students at the Main Campus Copy Center along with your original document(s), flash drive, or CD. Please be aware of the copyright notices below in which some submitted items may require you to sign a copyright release form.<\/p>\n<h3>Acceptable File Formats<\/h3>\n<p>We can print files using Microsoft Office, JPEGs, or PDF file formats. Most software today allows you to convert files to PDFs. Under this law, a copy or reproduction of copyrighted material (including written, video, or audio material from books, publications, the Internet, etc.) is not to be used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.\u201d Other people may not profit from someone else\u2019s copyrighted material. If a user makes a photocopy or reproduction for purposes over \u201cfair use,\u201d the user may be liable for copyright infringement. Students will be held liable for violating copyright laws when using Marymount copier equipment.
