Brooke Berry, J.D.
Dean of Students
Dean Berry is responsible for the oversight of the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, Title IX and the Office of Inclusion. Her primary focus is on providing student advocacy support, promoting opportunities for student development, managing community standards, and cultivating an inclusive educational environment. Brooke has diverse student affairs experience in student conduct, student housing, student engagement, and Title IX. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from North Carolina A&T State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa.
Coordinator for Community Standards
Ms. Chappell serves as the Coordinator for Community Standards. She is responsible for the day-to-day processing and resolution of cases, management of the office, and records, including completion of background checks and providing additional support for the academic integrity program. Her previous experience includes having worked in higher education and law offices. Ms. Chappell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and a Master of Legal Studies degree from West Virginia University. Ms. Chappell is a current Rehabilitation Counseling graduate student at The George Washington University.
Dr. Wayne A. Schroeder
Academic Integrity Coordinator
Dr. Schroeder serves as the Academic Integrity Coordinator. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the academic integrity process. After a career in government and the defense industry spanning more than 35 years, he joined Marymount University as an adjunct professor, teaching American Government, Comparative Politics and International Relations. He is also a nonresident senior fellow with the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security at the Atlantic Council, and an adjunct professor teaching graduate-level courses in defense studies, national security and international organizations at the Institute of World Politics. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Portland State University. Dr. Schroeder also received his A.M. and Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
Assistant Coordinator- Student Conduct
