The TIAA Retirement Program at Marymount University
Marymount offers a rich retirement plan that is open to all eligible regular full-time and part-time employees who work 1,000+ hours each year. The plan includes an automatic 2% employer contribution of the employee’s base salary and will match up to 6% of employee contributions. Eligible employees may participate immediately upon hire and contributions to this plan is 100% vested after four (4) years of employment. The value of the retirement account is equal to the sum of all MU contributions plus any earnings from investments.
TIAA, our retirement vendor, offers MU employees several investment choices. Our employees may divide their contributions among these funds or select a single fund to receive contributions. Investment choices are not permanent. Changes in fund choices can be made at any time.
