Grants are available to all students who qualify (according to the stipulations of each grant) \u2013 undergraduate and graduate. All of the following, except the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG), require the completion of the FAFSA. View the steps required to complete the FAFSA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Programs<\/span><\/h2>\n

Federal Pell Grant<\/h3>\n

The Federal Pell Grant program is for eligible families with the lowest income levels. 2022-2023* Grants range from $672 to $6,495 per year based on enrollment status. Eligibility is determined by FAFSA and is available to undergraduate students only<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 *2023-2024 amounts pending with studentaid.gov<\/a> as of February 1.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)<\/h3>\n

The SEOG offers limited additional funding with priority given to full-time Federal Pell Grant recipients who represent the highest level of financial need. For qualified students, grants can be awarded up to<\/strong><\/span> $4,000 per academic year.<\/p>\n

Marymount Grant<\/h3>\n

The Marymount Grant is sponsored by the University to make education affordable for as many full-time, first-degree needy undergraduate students as possible.<\/p>\n

Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant<\/h3>\n

The Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant<\/a>\u00a0is available to Virginia students 1) meeting domiciliary resident of Virginia as defined by the Code of Virginia \u00a723.1-502 and augmented by the Domicile Guidelines, 2) meeting the military dependent requirements under \u00a7 23.1-505 or 3) meeting the Tuition Equity provision requirements under \u00a7 23.1-505.1.<\/p>\n
