You\u2019re a Saint!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations on your admission to Marymount University as a Dual Enrollment Saint! As you get ready to take college courses while still in high school, use the checklist below to make sure you are fully prepared for your first day of class at Marymount.<\/p>\n

Admitted Dual Enrollment Students<\/h2>\n

Within two to three business days of processing your dual enrollment registration, you should be able to activate your Marymount student account through the Student Account Generator. For questions or help with activating your account, contact IT Support Services at its@marymount.edu<\/a> or at (703) 526-6990.<\/p>\n

You need to know your Marymount username and be able to log in to your Marymount email, Canvas, and Workday so you can view your courses, pay your tuition online, and request services. Dual enrollment students should check their Marymount email regularly, as it is the primary way Marymount and the offices will contact you.<\/p>\n

Course Registration and Approvals<\/h2>\n

Your dual enrollment registration is completed through the Marymount\u2013high school partnership process; you do not self-register for your classes. If you have questions about your registration status or schedule, contact the Office of Dual Enrollment at denrollm@marymount.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Transcripts and Academic Records<\/h2>\n

Because you are earning official Marymount credit, your coursework and grades will appear on a Marymount University transcript.<\/p>\n

If you plan to use your dual enrollment credits at another college or university after high school, that institution will determine how your Marymount credits transfer. To request an official Marymount transcript, you will follow the Registrar\u2019s procedures<\/a> for ordering and sending transcripts directly to other institutions.<\/p>\n

Technology, Textbooks, and Course Materials<\/h2>\n

Your course instructor or dual enrollment coordinator will let you know if there are any additional technology requirements for your specific course.<\/p>\n

Your instructor, your high school, or the dual enrollment coordinator will provide information about required textbooks and course materials. In some partnerships, the school division supplies materials; in others, students and families are responsible for purchasing them.<\/p>\n

Policies, Expectations, and Support<\/h2>\n

As a dual enrollment student, you are responsible for following Marymount University’s academic policies, course expectations, grading standards, and deadlines, even while you remain a high school student. This includes your academic integrity policy and your instructor’s attendance expectations.<\/p>\n

If you need academic support, you can access resources at Marymount, such as tutoring and the Writing Center. You should also work closely with your instructor, in addition to any support provided by your high school. Reach out to your instructor or the dual enrollment coordinator if you’re unsure how to connect with these services.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Next?<\/h2>\n

Stay in touch with your dual enrollment coordinator, high school counselor, and Marymount contacts throughout the term so you are aware of important dates, grading timelines, and opportunities to continue at Marymount after high school.<\/p>\n
