The work schedule should be clearly outlined and discussed with the student to assure they can meet those time commitments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Individual job descriptions will have additional duties and responsibilities that are specific to the position.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All GTA students must attend GTA Training prior to the beginning of their position. Classroom\/Lab based GTAs may teach a course independently once they have completed their GTA Training and served as a GTA for one semester, unless prior approval is obtained by their supervising faculty member.
