Please <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fill out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/05\/Reenrollment.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Re-enrollment Form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and send it to the Registrar&#8217;s Office.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information regarding our readmission policy &amp; if you should apply or submit the re-enrollment form, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.smartcatalogiq.com\/2021-2022\/Catalog\/Marymount-University-Catalog-2021-22\/Academic-Information-and-Policies\/Undergraduate-Academic-Information-and-Policies\/Seeking-Return-to-the-University\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">please review our course catalog here <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or contact the Office of Admissions at admiss@marymount.edu<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Should I apply as a Readmitted Student?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Former Marymount students who left while in good academic standing (outside of the two year mark) should apply for readmission to the university if they are seeking an undergraduate degree.<\/li>\n<li>Former Marymount students who were academically dismissed should apply for readmission to the university if they are seeking an undergraduate degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"accordion\" class=\"panel-group accordion\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-6 col-sm-6 col-md-6 col-lg-6\">\n<p class=\"text-right\"><a class=\"standard-button\" title=\"Good Standing\" href=\"#good standing\">In Good Standing\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-xs-6 col-sm-6 col-md-6 col-lg-6\">\n<p class=\"text-left\"><a class=\"standard-button\" title=\"Dismissed\" href=\"#Dismissed\">Academically Dismissed<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h1>Students in Good Standing<\/h1>\n<p>Students who have left the university in good standing may seek readmission to the university and must have a cumulative college GPA of at least a 2.5 of a 4.0 scale to be considered for admission.<\/p>\n<h3>Students in good standing must submit the following application materials to be considered for admission:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed readmission application <a href=\"#application good standing\">\u27aa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Official transcripts from all attended colleges or universities<\/li>\n<li>A letter of recommendation from a professor, advisor, or employer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Complete your readmission application:<\/h4>\n<p>Marymount accepts applications using our Marymount Application. Students who wish to be readmitted must apply by the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>August\u00a01 for fall entry<\/li>\n<li>December 1 for spring entry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.marymount.edu\/apply-to-marymount#TR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marymount.edu\/marymount.edu\/media\/Contact-Us\/button1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>*Readmit students will apply as Transfer students. Within the application, you will have the option to indicate that you are applying for readmission.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr \/>\n<h1>Academically Dismissed Students<\/h1>\n<p>Students who have been academically dismissed or left the university while on academic probation may seek readmission to the university after waiting at least one full fall or spring semester after the last semester they were enrolled at.<\/p>\n<h3>Academically dismissed students must submit the following application materials to be considered for admission:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed readmission application\u00a0<a href=\"#application dismissed\">\u27aa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A well-written personal statement <a href=\"#statement dismissed\">\u27aa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Official transcripts from all attended colleges or universities <a href=\"#transcript dismissed\">\u27aa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A letter of recommendation from a current or former Marymount faculty member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Undergraduate Academic Standards Committee (UASC) reviews all eligible applications and makes final decisions on readmission to the university and intended major. The UASC will review and consider all coursework taken after dismissal from the university in making a decision on readmission.\u00a0The committee will not review applications that are incomplete or that do not include evidence of satisfactory academic efforts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Complete your readmission application:<\/h4>\n<p>Marymount accepts applications using our Marymount Application. Within the application, you will have the option to indicate that you are applying for readmission.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Submit a well-written personal statement:<\/h4>\n<p>Your well-written personal statement should include the following information<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reasons for the your previous lack of success at the university, including an explanation of any extenuating circumstances that contributed to your previous academic difficulties;<\/li>\n<li>Documentation (if applicable) that any extenuating circumstances have been addressed; and<\/li>\n<li>A detailed plan of success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Submit transcripts from all attended colleges or universities:<\/h4>\n<p>Your transcripts must show you have met the following requirement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful completion of at least 9 credits in the most recent fall or spring semester prior to the readmission application with a minimum GPA of 3.0.<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of a new undergraduate degree since enrollment at the university. The degree must be earned from a regionally accredited institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Courses must be completed at a regionally accredited institution and comparable to Marymount&#8217;s current Liberal Arts Core or major specific requirements.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students who left the university within the past two years in good academic standing (e.g. you were not academically dismissed) are not required to apply for readmission to Marymount.
