Online education at Marymount University supports the University\u2019s mission of academic excellence, diversity, and student-centered learning. Marymount\u2019s online educational activities expand access, facilitate student engagement, and support the University\u2019s Catholic tradition of emphasizing intellectual curiosity, service to others, and global perspective.<\/p>\n
The following graduate degree programs are offered in a primarily online format. For more information about each program, go to each program\u2019s webpage. Courses for the MBA program can be taken in either an \u2018on-campus\u2019 or an \u2018online\u2019 format (or a combination of the two).<\/p>\n
Federal regulations and many individual states impose special requirements on universities \u2018outside their state\u2019 who enroll students from their state into an online program.<\/p>\n
Federal Regulation:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf an institution is offering postsecondary education through distance or correspondence education to students in a State in which it is not physically located or in which it is otherwise subject to State jurisdiction as determined by the State, the institution must meet any State requirements for it to be legally offering postsecondary distance or correspondence education in that State. (Chapter 34, \u00a7 600.9 State authorization, HIGHER EDUCATION ACT OF 1965, AS AMENDED)\u201d<\/p>\n Marymount University, as a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA<\/strong>), has reciprocal agreements with all other SARA member states and are currently seeking approval from non-SARA states to assure our compliance with each state\u2019s requirements for authorization to offer online courses to residents of their states.<\/p>\n At this time, Marymount University can offer our online programs to students residing in the following states:<\/p>\n If you live in a state NOT on our approved list and wish to enroll in one of our online programs, please contact our admissions’s office<\/a> for more information on your options and for updates on the status on any additional state agreements.<\/p>\n This page will be updated monthly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Online education at Marymount University supports the University\u2019s mission of academic excellence, diversity, and student-centered learning.
