Applications will be reviewed as they become complete. Students are encouraged to submit their application and supporting documents early; however, there is no application deadline.<\/p>\n<h2>Decision Notification<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applicants will receive an admissions decision on a rolling basis, generally four to six weeks after Marymount receives a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">completed<\/span><em>\u00a0<\/em>application and all required application materials.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements for First-Year Applicants:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed application submitted through the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.marymount.edu\/apply\">Marymount Application<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commonapp.org\/school\/marymount-university\">Common App<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>High school transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who are non-native English speakers must meet our <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/admissions\/intl-first-year-students#English-Proficiency\">English Language Proficiency Requirement<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Students who have completed four consecutive years (grades 9 through 12) of college preparatory English (excluding ESL\/ELL\/ELD or remedial English courses) with grades of C or higher at a U.S. high school excluding Puerto Rico satisfy this requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Extracurricular involvement and activities section (option)<\/li>\n<li>Letter(s) of recommendation (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Personal essay (optional, although highly encouraged)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Marymount University does not consider SAT\/ACT scores for admission or scholarship purposes unless you participate in any of the following instructional models.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Applicants described below must submit standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, or CLT) for admission consideration. Recommended scores: 980 SAT or 18 ACT.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>applicants who are home-schooled<\/li>\n<li>applicants who attend unaccredited high schools or institutions<\/li>\n<li>applicants who attend high schools or institutions that do not provide letter or numerical grades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regardless of citizenship or immigration status, students who are currently enrolled or have previously enrolled at a school outside of the United States may also be considered international applicants and be subject to additional <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/admissions\/intl-first-year-students\">international admissions requirements<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Admission Requirements Rolling Admission Marymount University allows students to apply on a rolling basis.
