Our aim is to lay a solid foundation for career readiness, helping individuals navigate the job and internship search process with ease.<\/p>\n<p>We offer virtual and in-person appointments based on availability. <strong>All appointments are made using Handshake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alumni <strong>without<\/strong> Handshake accounts may email us at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:cservice@marymount.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CCDCE@marymount.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0to schedule an appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family: arial black, sans-serif;color: #000080\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Our Student\/Alumni Appointment Framework<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the Center for Career Development &amp; Community Engagement, our appointment framework begins with a <strong>mandatory intake appointment<\/strong> designed to identify how we can best help students and alumni achieve their goals. During this initial meeting, our staff will assess each student&#8217;s unique needs and provide a tailored pathway recommendation, determining the appropriate level of support needed.<\/p>\n<p>We offer five pathway options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Career Coaching<\/strong>: One-on-one career guidance and planning.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Internship Support<\/strong>: Assistance with the internship-for-credit process.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interview Preparation<\/strong>: Mock interviews to enhance interview skills.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Individualized Resume and Cover Letter Assistance<\/strong>: Personalized help with crafting professional resumes and cover letters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Individualized LinkedIn Assistance<\/strong>: Customized support for optimizing LinkedIn profiles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>**<em>Please note that for pathways 4 and 5, students are required to attend one of our resume workshops or LinkedIn workshops, either in-person or via Canvas, before being able to be seen for individual support.
