We are extremely proud of our program and are excited to share some of the features that make us unique. Our Program is dedicated to providing quality education to improve the lives of our patients and clients in the ever-changing health care landscape. The program has a deeply-held belief in servant leadership and prepares our students to be advocates for our patients, communities, and the profession of physical therapy. Currently our faculty are active in a Go Baby Go initiative, sponsor a transformative mission trip to Latin America linked to clinical education, and are working to address healthy aging and falls prevention.<\/p>\n<p>Our campus is placed in an ideal location at the intersection of expert practice and policy. The success of the School is facilitated by our excellent relationship with multiple internship sites, which include clinics, businesses, hospitals, and health-related nonprofits in the D.C. metro area. Our connection to several national associations such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apha.org\/\">American Public Health Association (APHA)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apta.org\/\">American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acsm.org\/\">American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)<\/a> enriches the connection between learning in the classroom and best practices in these disciplines. Our location in Arlington, Va., is a mere 5 miles from several of these associations.<\/p>\n<p>I am honored to be the Program Director of a Physical Therapy program that is grounded in excellence and service.
