Our graduates provide patient-centered quality care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Laboratory and clinical experiences are provided to develop competence in the care of patients throughout the life cycle.<\/p>\n<p>It is an exciting time to explore a career in nursing. Reports project an average of 194,500 annual openings for registered nursing through 2030. Marymount has a solid reputation for preparing knowledgeable, skilled, caring nurse professionals. Today\u2019s nurses not only provide health care to people of all ages, but also educate patients and their families in preventive care.<\/p>\n<p>The baccalaureate degree program in Nursing at Marymount University is accredited by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aacnnursing.org\/ccne-accreditation\/who-we-are\">Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education<\/a>.&nbsp;The BSN program is also approved by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhp.virginia.gov\/Boards\/Nursing\/\">Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To find out more information about applying to the BSN program at Marymount, please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/admissions\/nursing-students\/\">Admissions Page.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Marymount<\/h2>\n<h3>Marymount offers three ways to secure a BSN:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>a traditional four-year BSN&nbsp;program<\/li>\n<li>an accelerated BSN program available for individuals who hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in another field, ideal for adults interested in switching careers.\n<ul>\n<li>This program has 3 options:\n<ul>\n<li>full-time (4&nbsp;consecutive semesters)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/online.marymount.edu\/programs\/online-accelerated-bsn-program?schoolsrc=44144\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online\/distance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (4 consecutive semesters)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>part-time (9 consecutive semesters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>a hybrid online RN-to-BSN program.
