The School offers the BSN (accelerated and traditional), MSN (Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) and the Doctor of Nursing Practice.<\/p>\n<p>The Malek School of Nursing Professions is located in Caruthers Hall, Marymount\u2019s high-tech academic building, which opened in January 2011. In addition to classrooms and faculty offices, the building houses nine science teaching labs; five science research labs; and five health-science teaching labs, including the William Randolph Hearst Nursing Laboratory, which simulates an acute-care hospital setting.<\/p>\n<p>Marymount\u2019s Malek School of Nursing Professions has affiliations with the national capital area\u2019s leading health care organizations \u2013 including the Inova Health System, Children\u2019s National Medical Center, Virginia Hospital Center, and many others. Located near the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, it provides students with outstanding clinical experiences and professional connections that open the doors to career success.<\/p>\n<p>The Malek School of Nursing Professions is named in honor of longtime Marymount friends and benefactors <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/about-malek\/biographies\/\">Marlene A. and Frederic V.
