The interactive process (also referenced as the interactive dialogue) refers to students with disabilities who request accommodations, working together with SAS professionals to develop accommodations.\u00a0 The purpose of this process is to \u201cidentify the precise limitations resulting from the disability and potential reasonable accommodations that could overcome those limitations.\u201d 29 C.F.R. \u00a7 1630.2(o)(3). \u00a0This dialogue \u201cis at the heart of the ADA\u2019s process and essential to accomplishing its goals.\u201d Barnett v.
