Cloud computing has emerged as a major computer infrastructure technology, and many organizations have moved, or are planning to move, their systems from on-premise equipment to the cloud. This technology has created a large demand for IT professionals with cloud knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n
The accelerated second degree B.S. in cloud computing may be completed in four semesters, or less, by students who have earned, or are earning, a bachelor’s degree in another program. Students admitted to this program must have completed a previous baccalaureate degree, or are completing one, and have met the Liberal Arts Core and possibly some prerequisite requirements (six credits described below).<\/p>\n
Upon successful completion of the second degree accelerated cloud computing program, students will be able to<\/p>\n
Residency Requirements:<\/strong> Students must take at least 36 credits at Marymount University.<\/p>\n Program Prerequisites:<\/strong> These courses or their equivalents must be completed prior to starting the accelerated second degree cloud computing program: statistics (equivalent to MA 132<\/a>) and introductory computing class (equivalent to IT 110<\/a>).<\/p>\n Minimum Grade Requirements:<\/strong> A minimum grade of C is required in all information technology (IT) courses.
