Marymount University\u2019s Speech-Language Pathology Early Assurance Program (SLP-EAP) is designed for undergraduate students who are committed to becoming speech-language pathologists and who seek a clear, supportive, and values-driven pathway into graduate education.<\/p>\n
This program recognizes students\u2019 dedication early, reduces uncertainty in the graduate admissions process, and reflects Marymount\u2019s commitment to access, belonging, and preparing compassionate clinicians who serve diverse communities with skill and humility.<\/p>\n
The SLP-EAP offers eligible undergraduate students guaranteed admission<\/strong> to Marymount University\u2019s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, contingent upon successful completion of program requirements.<\/p>\n Applications are reviewed holistically, with attention to academic preparation, professional readiness, and alignment with Marymount\u2019s mission-centered, justice-oriented approach to speech-language pathology.<\/p>\n Students may apply at any point during their undergraduate program.<\/p>\n Applicants will be asked to:<\/p>\n The interview process is designed to be conversational and supportive, offering space for students to share their goals, experiences, and interests in the field.<\/p>\n Students admitted to the SLP-EAP must meet the following criteria to secure their place in the graduate program:<\/p>\n Students who successfully complete all Early Assurance requirements may enroll in the graduate Speech-Language Pathology program immediately following undergraduate graduation.<\/strong><\/p>\n Students may also choose to take time away before beginning graduate study; however, enrollment must occur within two years<\/strong> of completing the bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n The SLP-EAP reflects Marymount University\u2019s belief that the future of speech-language pathology depends on clinicians who are not only academically prepared, but also grounded in equity, ethics, and community engagement.
