If you are traveling abroad and you will need to renew your F-1 visa before re-entering the U.S., allow yourself at least 2 months<\/strong>\u00a0in advance to apply for the interview at the\u00a0U.S. Embassy in your country<\/a>. To set up your appointment, go to the U.S. Embassy website of your country. Look for the section: \u201cHow to apply for a visa.\u201d\u00a0Have all your documents with you to complete your application.<\/p>\n
