To set up your appointment, go to the U.S. Embassy website of your country. Look for the section: \u201cHow to apply for a visa.\u201d\u00a0Have all your documents with you to complete your application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure that your passport will be valid at least 6 months beyond the date you plan to re-enter the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare passport pictures following <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/visa-information-resources\/photos.html\">U.S. Department of State requirements<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Complete the\u00a0online Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/visa-information-resources\/forms\/ds-160-online-nonimmigrant-visa-application.html\">Read about<\/a>\u00a0the Form\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ceac.state.gov\/genniv\/\">DS-160<\/a>. Once you have completed the form, be sure to immediately print it; you will need to bring the confirmation page with you to your interview.<\/li>\n<li>Set an\u00a0appointment at the closest embassy in your country.
