Academic semesters\/terms are defined as:<\/p>\n
Failure to be enrolled in a full course of study by the Add\/Drop Date for the semester of enrollment may result in the loss of F-1 status and termination of SEVIS record and I-20.<\/strong><\/p>\n Note:<\/strong> Sponsors, which may include government funding (such as SACM), scholarships, athletics, on-campus jobs, and others may have different requirements regarding allowability of online courses\/credits. Check directly with your sponsor.<\/p>\n You must receive written approval on your I-20 from ISSS before <\/strong><\/em>you drop below full-time status.
