What is a Change of Education Level I-20?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Many F-1 students decide to pursue another degree program at Marymount.\u00a0 If you are completing your current degree, or finishing your authorized Optional Practical Training (OPT), and are admitted to a new degree program at Marymount University, you are required to submit documents to process a new I-20.\u00a0 This I-20 is referred to as a Change of Education Level I-20.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to Request a Change of Education Level I-20<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Your request for a Change of Education Level I-20 must be completed, and the Change of Education Level I-20 issued, before<\/em> the end of the 60-day grace period after your previous program completion or OPT expiration date.<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Receive admission to Marymount University for a new program. NOTE: the new program start date must occur within 5 months of completing your current program end date.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Log in to the ISSS Portal and proceed to Tab 4.<\/p>\n

  1. Click the icon named I-20 for New Degree Level Request.<\/li>\n
  2. Answer the Questionnaire, then click Next.<\/li>\n
  3. Upload all the required documents:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
