Would you like to make a tangible difference in the lives of your neighbors? If so, Arlington’s new Community Ambassador Program is the volunteer opportunity for you. A key piece of Arlington County\u2019s Age-Friendly Action Plan, the Community Ambassador Program is designed to improve communication and help older adults navigate access to programs, services, and assistance available (but often under-used) in Arlington. Volunteer ambassadors will be trained to provide personal outreach to their own neighborhoods, buildings, senior housing centers, faith communities, and more.
