We offer a range of program options so you can find one that suits both your budget and academic goals. Costs can vary depending on factors like program type, cost of living, and travel during free time, so planning ahead is key. Connect with a study abroad advisor to explore the best options for you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are a few important billing details:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u200bAll study abroad tuition and program fees are billed through Marymount University in Workday, following the university&#8217;s regular billing schedule.<\/li>\n<li>All students studying abroad will be billed for the Marymount Study Abroad Fee.<\/li>\n<li>Study abroad costs vary based on program length and structure.\n<ul>\n<li>For semester-long programs, students were generally billed <strong>regular Marymount tuition and fees, plus housing<\/strong> costs determined by the host location and accommodation type (historically <strong>averaging $4,000\u2013$6,000<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>All programs include the <strong>Marymount Study Abroad Fee (currently $500)<\/strong>, which helps cover administrative costs such as transcript processing and international payments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u200bStudents participating in a Global Classroom, international internship program, or summer term program will be billed at the Marymount tuition rates for the number of credits that they are taking abroad, as well as an additional supplemental program fee.<\/li>\n<li>Students participating in a Global Classroom will be billed for the supplemental program fee by Marymount University. Supplemental program fees vary by program. Please see the program brochure for more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below you will find information and resources related to using financial aid and scholarships to study abroad. Should you have any additional questions about funding your study abroad experience, please reach out to the GEO.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial Aid &amp; Marymount Scholarships<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most financial aid and scholarships that a student receives at Marymount will automatically be applied to the study abroad program; however, there are some exceptions (i.e. Work Study, Clare Booth Luce), and we advise students to work with financial aid to determine which forms of financial aid they will be able to use for their time abroad. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Eligibility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You must be a student enrolled in a degree-seeking program at Marymount to be eligible for financial aid. Most aid requires a minimum of twelve credits per semester and at least six credits in the summer term to maintain minimal eligibility for financial aid. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Limits:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> There are limits to how much financial aid you can receive (especially during the summer months), and your financial aid award may not cover the entire cost of study abroad experience. The student will work with Financial Aid to understand their aid package and their eligibility for any supplementary loans.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">External Scholarships<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students planning to study abroad are encouraged to research and apply for external scholarships early. Many of our provider partners have scholarships they offer to students, and students may be eligible for other third-party scholarships offered through the government and other foundations. A sample of external scholarships is found below, but students should consult with their study abroad advisor and complete independent research to learn about additional scholarship opportunities that they may be eligible for.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gilmanscholarship.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Benjamin A.
