\u201cI could see there were broad applications with HEP degrees and began looking at graduate programs in the D.C. metro area in 2010. Other area universities were out of my price range. Small class size was a priority, and the convenience of the campus allowed me to keep working. I completed my graduate degree in two years while working full time at a very demanding job. My graduate internship took me to northern Peru as part of a research team for community health education. It helped me better understand health behaviors. You always have some place to start.
