      Native Plants and Ethnobotany<\/b><\/h2>\n

      LEARN MORE<\/b> about the <\/span>Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Perspectives Project<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>developed by the Adkins Arboretum and Washington College Food Initiative to explore \u201cthe importance of more than 20 native plants to the food, craftwork, and medicinal traditions of Indigenous peoples of the Chesapeake region\u201d and \u201cencourage a paradigm shift from land as capital to land as sacred teacher, healer, and sustainer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
