Your arrival in the Washington. D.C. area will most likely be at one of the two airports that serve the region: Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD). Reagan National Airport is closest to Marymount University. Washington-Dulles International Airport has many incoming daily flights from around the world. A third option, Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport, is farther from Marymount University and it not easily accessible via public transportation.

New students living on-campus at Marymount will be assigned a move-in date by the office of student housing. Students who want to a move-in date a few days before the scheduled move-in date may be charged an extra fee, so plan ahead.

If you have family visiting you or helping you with your move-in, there are a variety of hotels in the area for them to stay. If you arrive significantly prior to the opening date of the residence halls, you will have to arrange for housing with friends or relatives or stay at a nearby hotel, or be charged extra fees for moving in early. During the winter holiday, you may not be permitted to move onto campus before the move-in date.

Hotel rates in U.S. dollars: $110-$180 per night. Please identify yourself as a Marymount University student to request a special rate.

At the U.S. Port of Entry, you must present: Passport with a valid F-1 or J-1 visa stamp Original Form I-20, signed by the P/DSO and the student (or parent/guardian, if under 18) or Form DS-2019, signed by the A/RO and the student or scholar Supporting documents For F-1, supporting documents may include […]

Temporary Housing and Hotels:
