{"id":30316,"date":"2024-03-20T13:04:26","date_gmt":"2024-03-20T17:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/?page_id=30316"},"modified":"2026-03-03T12:48:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T17:48:14","slug":"center-for-academic-excellence","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/college-of-business-innovation-leadership-and-technology\/school-of-technology-and-innovation\/center-for-academic-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"Center for Academic Excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD)<\/p>\n<p>The National Security Agency (NSA) and its partners (the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency \u2013CISA- and the Federal Bureau of Investigation &#8211; FBI-, &nbsp;the National Institute of Standards and Technology -NIST-\/National Initiative on Cybersecurity Education -NICE-, the National Science Foundation -NSF-, the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Information Officer -DoD-CIO-, and U.S. Cyber Command -USCYBERCOM-) designates university and community colleges as Centers of Academic Excellence in designated areas: defense, offence, and research.
