Intentionally placed at these points in the curriculum, professors assess your clinical skills set for safe, effective practice as advanced practice nurses in primary care.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28472 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/10\/residency-experience.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/10\/residency-experience.jpg 800w, https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/10\/residency-experience-300x154.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/10\/residency-experience-768x394.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Your Residency<\/h3>\n<p>This residency includes an in-person practice to clarify and refine advanced health assessment skills acquired during your advanced health assessment course.&nbsp; Professors (all advanced practice nurses) will demonstrate a head-to-toe physical examination and work with you in modeling appropriate techniques. Following practice, you will perform an evaluated head-to-toe physical examination.
